Business Development Center - Clinton's Small Business Incubator is located in the basement of the Truman Regional Education Center on the north end of town. Clinton Main Street - Clinton has a lot of great history, and we are very proud of our downtown district. Our square is one of the largest in the nation, with ample parking and traffic lanes going both directions. The downtown district is a hub of activity, making it a great business location. We pride ourselves on keeping our commercial properties filled to boost business for everyone. Revolving Loan Fund - The RLF is designed as a low-interest way to assist start-up businesses or existing businesses with facade renovations, fixed assets, inventory, operating capital, or other needed expenses. The revolving loan fund is one of our newest services. This is a fund for downtown businesses. Design Assistance Program - Clinton Main Street has a new program for downtown business that includes free design assistance, an awning, sign or facade renovation grant; paint grant and a revolving loan fund to help with certian expenses. For more information on any of these assistance programs, please contact Clinton Main Street, a program of the Clinton Chamber of Commerce, at 660-885-2121 before beginning your improvements.

Community Grant Program - The Clinton Chamber of Commerce is offering a new program for Clinton's businesses. The Community Grant Program will fund up to five grants for Chamber members this year that will be awarded for exterior improvements to commercial businesses. This program is being offered as an incentive for visual improvements to commercial buildings and signage throughout the community. To apply for a grant or receive more information, please contact the Chamber at 660-885-8166 for an application prior to beginning your improvements.

Enhanced Enterprise Zone - Qualifying businesses are eligible for state income tax credits and local property tax abatement.

Small Business & Technology Development Center - Learn about training on a variety of aspects related to starting and running a small business.

USDA Rural Development - Clinton is home to our local USDA Rural Development offices. The folks here often work with businesses on loans and other services offered by the United States government.

Procurement Technical Assistance - The Procurement Technical Assistance helps when dealing with regulations and red tape!  MO PTAC will assist in obtaining federal, state, and local government contracts.  The procurement specialists will help you in identifying opportunities and understanding the contracting process so you can take advantage of government sales dollars.  This is a free service offered to small businesses in Henry County.  Call 660-747-3193 for more information.
