Our Community Has Given Us So Much Over The Years
–from bountiful crops to safe havens for our homes and schools, to the calming
serenity of our glistening lakes.

But how do we say “thank you” to the land we call home? How can we give a gift as fruitful as
the ones our community has given us for so many years? The answer is simple!

Through donations to the Truman Lake Community Foundation, our community can reach new
heights of quality throughout every aspect of daily existence.

The Foundation invites you to take a moment to read this web page and learn how you can make
difference today, and for generations to come.

We Can Help You Make A Difference

to making a difference is, of course, caring.  About your neighbors.  About our
community.  About the future of the Truman Lake area.  But it takes something more.  It takes the
influence and focus of a foundation dedicated exclusively to making certain your money is used in
the most positive way; whether it goes toward health and human services, education, community
development or philanthropy.  That is the mission of the Truman Lake Community Foundation.

Health & Human Services

Our people are our most valuable asset.  So it's vitally important that we do what's necessary to help
them reach their fullest potential as individuals, groups, organizations and neighborhoods.  Your
dollars will become part of the Foundation's resources that are so essential to promoting greater
self-sufficiency, improving health care delivery, increasing access to human services and helping
our community members achieve more meaningful and productive lifestyles.

Education

Through improved education, the people of the Truman Lake area will be
better equipped to improve their lifestyles, develop into well-rounded
individuals and become contributing members of our society.  Your donation
to the Foundation will help us achieve these goals by providing seed money
for scholarships & training grants, by promoting parental involvement and
academic excellence and by offering our children, our future, all possible
opportunities to improve their minds and places in life.

Community Improvements
In order to improve the quality of life, the most basic needs of individuals, groups and neighborhoods must be met.  With your financial support, the Foundation will continue to stimulate efforts that lead to more affordable housing options, job creation and training, and better coordination of our community resources.  In addition, your dollars will help insure that we continue to help fund the efforts of community development organizations and other relevant non-profit groups.

Cultural & Special Projects

No community can truly thrive without a broad foundation of
organizations working toward the betterment of its people.  One
of the Foundation's most important goals is to help aid the efforts
of these critical resources.  Through your contribution, our spirit
of caring for the quality of life can go on; by providing seed money,
creating endowments and offsetting the operating costs of vital
community organizations.

Through your donation to the Foundation, you can make a difference in the lives of your family, friends
and neighbors....a difference to be appreciated for generations to come.
