These improvements reinforce Radford Media’s commitment to providing reliable, high-quality service to the communities of west-central Missouri.\nAs part of these upgrades, a new Nautel VX5 transmitter has been installed for 95.3 KDKD-FM, improving broadcast clarity, signal reliability, and energy efficiency. The VX5 is part of Nautel’s latest line of transmitters, built for long-term performance and enhanced signal coverage.\nIn addition, fiber-optic internet will be installed at the Radford Media studios, boosting digital capabilities for streaming, remote broadcasts, and content delivery across both stations, including 104.9 The Bizz (KXEA-FM).\nRecognizing the importance of emergency readiness, Radford Media Group has partnered with Henry County Emergency Management to implement new backup power generators.
