DESCRIPTION:The LearningForce at SFCC to offer School Bus Training\nSedalia, Mo – May 19, 2025 – State Fair Community College (SFCC) The LearningForce will offer School Bus Driver Training from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on July 8 and again on July 17 in the Thompson Conference Center, located in the Heckart Science and Allied Health Center on SFCC’s Sedalia campus.\nThe full-day training session is for licensed school bus drivers who need to obtain an annual quality re-certification required by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. Training topics include general school transportation statistics, loading zones, bus driver safety, liability issues facing transportation, maintaining a safe school bus environment, crisis response, mental health and wellness, and reasonable suspicion.\nThe cost is $25 for the full-day session per person.
