Transfer Station Fee Holiday
November 1 – 6, 2021
Note: City ID (driver’s license, utility bill or property tax receipt) is required for FREE disposal. Regular fees apply to all others. The City reserves the right to limit the amount of items for FREE disposal from a single source.
Location: Transfer Station, 1305 N. Washington Street
Hours: (Clean-Up week only): 8:30 am – 7:00 pm, Monday – Friday • 8:30 am – 2:00 pm, Saturday
Note: During the Transfer Station Fee Holiday only, the Transfer Station will be open from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m
Items FREE of charge for City residents with ID:
Boards • Appliances • Furniture • Bulk items • Refrigerators (compressors MUST be removed)
Air conditioners (MUST have certification that Freon has been removed)
Regular fees will apply to:
Regular domestic trash • Carpet
The following items WILL NOT be accepted:
Tires • Batteries • Commercial waste • Shingles • Liquids • Chemicals • Hazardous materials • Concrete
Rock • Soil • Waste materials from demolition projects
