Free Cognitive Screenings offered May 14 at Henry County Health Center

(Clinton, Missouri – May 6, 2024) — Medicare recommends individuals aged 65 and older undergo yearly screenings for cognitive impairment. Younger adults experiencing concerns or symptoms should also be screened. Early detection of cognitive impairment is vital for timely intervention and planning.

The Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) Research Department and the Missouri Memory Center in Bolivar, Missouri, will host Free Cognitive Screenings on May 14, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Henry County Health Center, 111 N. 3rd St., in Clinton. Pre-registration is required; call 417-328-7781 to schedule.

The screenings, administered by trained staff and lasting about 30 minutes, provide immediate results for discussion with primary care providers.

For more information about the CMH Research Department or the Missouri Memory Center, call 417-328-7781.
