On Monday of this week, I attended a meeting at the Henry Co. Courthouse that featured MO State Treasurer Vivek Malek. He talked mostly about the MO Buck$ Program and the Unclaimed Property Division in his office.
On Wed., Joyce and I were at KDKD to record the weekly Chamber Chat that airs at 12:15pm on Thursdays and then is available to listen to via podcast.
Later on Wed., I attended the Clinton Tourism Assoc. meeting that was held at the Chamber. They meet to ask questions about the proposed tourism budget, find out what the Committee’s goals are for the coming year and, hopefully approve the Tourism Committee’s budget for each year. The Assoc. did approve the budget so it now goes to the City Council in Dec. for final approval.
