CLINTON, MO DEVELOPS MISSOURI”S FIRST VIRTUAL BUILDING PROGRAM FOR ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

Clinton, MO Economic Development has “rolled out” their new Virtual Dynamic Building Calculator tool to help expedite development time and increase marketing lead generation. The Program utilizes real time pricing for construction and materials and allows three different building types to be shown to clients.  The buildings include:

  • 105,000SF General Manufacturing Building
  • 88,000SF Food & Beverage Manufacturing Building
  • 210,000 SF Regional Distribution Facility

“This exciting tool allows us to be more competitive in a very robust industrial market and shows our community willingness to be aggressive and pro-active”, says Mark Dawson, CEcD Clinton Economic Development Director. “This shows our community working together to achieve a goal of creating excellent paying jobs and capital investment in Clinton and Henry County, MO.”

The Dynamic Building Calculator allows numerous drop down options that can be factored into a new facility plan.  Additionally, the tool allows a download of draft plans along with a GANTT construction schedule timeline. A client can receive a set of revised drawings within days of their reviewing the tool. The Dynamic Building Calculator tool is hosted on the new Clinton, Missouri website, www.clintonmo.com.

Plans call for a “Fast Track Development” Program involving any of the three different building types. This will further speed development and will be a site on a Missouri Certified Site, Gerhart Industrial Park.  By locating on a Missouri Certified Site, much due-diligence has already been completed.

The Virtual Dynamic Building Calculator is a program that has been created between JESCO Construction and Next Move Group.

Funding Partners on the Project include the following:

  • EVERGY Economic Development
  • Henry County Industrial Development Authority
  • City of Clinton, MO
