Clinton Airport

Clinton Regional Airport is located 85 miles southeast of Kansas City. The airport is owned by the City of Clinton and operated by the Clinton Airport Association. The airport has two runways, newly constructed Runway 18/36 which is 5,000 feet long and a crosswind runway, Runway 4/22 which is 4,001 feet long.

Through a commitment to serve and attract general aviation users, the airport contributes to meeting the needs of individuals, the general public, the armed forces, and the business community it serves.

The airport provides a gateway to outdoor enthusiasts visiting Truman Lake. Seasonal activities include aerial photography and inspections and military exercises by nearby Missouri National Guard units. The airport further enhances the quality of life in the area by supporting police/law enforcement activity, environmental patrols, medical doctor transports, and forest firefighting. In addition, the Missouri Department of Conservation utilizes the airport as needed for search and rescue missions.

The airport promotes community outreach by seasonally providing Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) Young Eagle events, which offer introductory flights to youth of all ages. The airport serves as the FBO providing fuel, both 100LL and Jet A, and hangar and tie-down rentals. Bedini Aviation Maintenance is a full time maintenance operator located on the airfield. Avfab, Golden Valley Aviation, Healthcare Executive Leadership Partners LLC, Par Electrical Contractors Inc., and Bass Pro/ Tracker Boats are companies who frequently use the airport to transport staff, equipment, and goods in and out of the airport.
