The Chamber sends out some huge thank yous to Clinton Christian Academy and Elite Laundry. 8th graders from CCA plus some other helpers are rebulbing (10.28) the snowflakes you will see this holiday season in Clinton. CCA every year provides students to accomplish this task, and Elite Laundry lets the Chamber store the decorations throughout the year.
Once again, thanks CCA and Elite Laundry.

The Chamber stopped by Seeds of Faith Preschool on Thursday as they celebrated having earned the “Exhibiting High Quality” designation from the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and the Office of Childhood.
The designation is achieved by programs who participate in Missouri’s Quality Assurance Report (QAR) and achieve specific milestones across four phases: Committing to Quality, Building Quality, Recognizing Quality and Continuous Quality Improvement.
QAR is a system designed to recognize the unique aspects of quality in early learning and education programs throughout Missouri. Achievement of the Exhibiting High Quality designation indicates the program demonstrates the highest quality practices across both classroom experiences and program operations that families expect and all children deserve.

The Greater Clinton Area Chamber of Commerce is giving you the chance to win…several chances to win, actually.
For the 7th year in a row, it’s the Clinton Chamber’s ‘Receipt to Receive’.
Beginning Nov. 2nd, folks can bring in a receipt from a Clinton Chamber business that’s a retail business or restaurant, or email that receipt, and you will then be entered to win. Thus…Receipt to Receive.
At the Chamber, we will copy or scan that receipt and get your name and phone number.
Keep in mind that the item(s) on your receipt must be at least $25 in purchases on that receipt and those items need to be purchased from members of the Clinton Chamber to be entered, but you can enter multiple times with different receipts.
Every other week, on Nov. 9th and 23rd and Dec. 7th and 21st, those receipts will be entered into a drawing to win a $50 Chamber gift certificate. To be entered to win, you must bring at least one receipt to the Chamber from the previous two weeks. All qualifying receipts will be eligible for our grand prize giveaway. We will not have back-to-back winners, but your receipts will be accepted Nov. 2nd-Dec. 21st for that grand prize.
On Christmas Eve, we will take ALL those receipts entered and draw the big winner of $200 in Chamber certificates.
The Clinton Chamber of Commerce is giving away $400 in Chamber gift certificates during this promotion.
We are open Monday through Friday from 8am until 4:30pm at 200 South Main St.
You can find a list of Clinton Chamber members when you go to www.ClintonMO.com, call the Clinton Chamber at 660-885-8166, email joyce@clintonmo.com, or look for the Clinton Chamber decal near the front of each business.
Once again, receipts will only be accepted from Chamber retail businesses and restaurants.
Good luck!

IMPORTANT COMMUNITY PRESENTATION
What happens to our rural schools matters to us all.
State funding and policy decisions have real consequences for our schools, our students, our local workforce, our businesses, and the future of our communities. The decisions being made today will help shape the resources available to rural schools in the years ahead.
That’s why the Clinton School District is bringing neighboring districts together for Rural Schools, Missouri’s Future: A Community Conversation on Thursday, November 19.
Featured presenter Duane Martin, a rural education advocate and school law attorney with EdCounsel, will explain how state public education funding works, the financial challenges facing rural schools, and how state-level decisions shape school budgets and the future of rural public education.
This is an important conversation for our entire community, not just those with children in school. Whether you’re a parent, educator, business owner, retiree, or simply someone who cares about your community’s future, understanding how state funding decisions affect our schools and community matters. The more we understand how state funding decisions affect our schools now, the better prepared we’ll be for what lies ahead.

Clinton Animal Shelter·We are looking for pet friendly businesses in the Clinton area that would allow us to come in and do PET POP UPS. This might only be 1 to 3 dogs, or it could be a kennel of cats or kittens.
We would advertise ahead of time that we are going to be at your business, and it would only be for an hour or two or however long you would allow us to stay. No work on your part! Just allow us to hang out. This gives people another place to come to meet the pet besides the shelter.
These types of events get our homeless pets out in public and seen. It also gets them more socialization and out of the shelter. In the long run, we hope it helps them find their forever home.
To get put on the list of places that would do a Pet Pop Up or for more details please email – tlbwilliams94@gmail.com or call/text 660-351-2834.
