The Tony Komer Foundation and the Clinton Tourism Association held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Saturday, March 19th in the Artesian Park at the American Legion parking lot. The 18-hole disc golf course is now officially open, even though players have been using this new ‘back 9’ since last fall. With monetary donations from the Tony Komer Foundation and the Clinton Tourism Association, the course is now a complete, 18-hole course. Now that this venue is an 18-hole course, the hope is to see more people from inside and outside of Clinton enjoying the sport, as well as to have non-profits and others using it to raise money by hosting tournaments. The T.K. Foundation and the C.T.A. would like to thank those that helped design and build this new ‘back 9’ of the Clinton Disc Golf Course, the City Council, City staff and others.
