Henry County Sheriff’s Office is hosting a community awareness event
The Henry County Sheriff’s Office, in association with the Mid-States Organized Crime Information Center (MOCIC) is hosting a community awareness event on Tuesday, August 5th, 2025, from 1:00-5:00 pm, at the First Baptist Church, 1531 North Vansant Road, Clinton, for law enforcement, first responders, faith and community leaders, health service providers, mental / behavioral health and addiction professionals, as well as members of the general public, as we work together toward facilitating and fostering a proactive and collaborative approach to prevention, response, and recovery in addressing the on-going opioid crisis here in Missouri. Opioids would include Fentanyl, Heroin, Morphine, Oxycodone, Hydrocodone, Codeine, Methadone, and Tramadol, just to mention a few. There tends to also be a strong connection between Fentanyl and human trafficking nationwide.
