Henry County Sheriff’s Office is hosting a community awareness event

The Henry County Sheriff’s Office, in association with the Mid-States Organized Crime Information Center (MOCIC) is hosting a community awareness event on Tuesday, August 5th, 2025, from 1:00-5:00 pm, at the First Baptist Church, 1531 North Vansant Road, Clintonfor law enforcement, first responders, faith and community leaders, health service providers, mental / behavioral health and addiction professionals, as well as members of the general public, as we work together toward facilitating and fostering a proactive and collaborative approach to prevention, response, and recovery in addressing the on-going opioid crisis here in Missouri.  Opioids would include Fentanyl, Heroin, Morphine, Oxycodone, Hydrocodone, Codeine, Methadone, and Tramadol, just to mention a few.  There tends to also be a strong connection between Fentanyl and human trafficking nationwide.

Your voice and expertise are vital as we work to build a safer and healthier future for all in our local communities.  There is no need to register in advance, as attendance is open to all.  We hope to see you there and please feel free to bring your family, a friend or colleague with you!

Best regards,

Captain Rob Hills
