National Library Week from April 8th – 13th
Please join the Henry County Library in celebration of National Library Week from April 8th – 13th! In addition to a display highlighting the library’s many chapters throughout the years, the following events/activities will be held throughout the week:
Monday, April 8th – The week will kick off with a Solar Eclipse Viewing Party from 12:15 – 3:15 p.m. in the library parking lot in Clinton. Free eclipse glasses will be provided for safe gazing. Bring your lawn chair and enjoy the view! A mini watch party is also being held in front of the Lenora Blackmore Branch in Windsor.
Tuesday, April 9th – Please stop by and say hi for National Library Workers Day!
Wednesday, April 10 – In recognition of National Library Outreach Day, the library will be releasing information regarding updates to its Book Express program. Book Express assists homebound patrons by providing access to library services remotely.
Daily Activities – Both libraries invite patrons to participate in their daily activities. Those visiting the Henry County Library will be playing a game of library “Clue”, and visitors to the Lenora Blackmore Branch will be joining in a library scavenger hunt.
Bring your “shelf” in and enjoy the fun! For more information, please contact the Henry County Library at 660-885-2612 or the Lenora Blackmore Branch at 660-647-2298.
