Easy to buy…easy to use…and you’re helping out local businesses.

You can either call in, email your order, or stop by the Chamber for Chamber gift certificates. These gift certificates can be used at more than 300 local businesses and they don’t expire until Dec. 31st of 2024!

They live at the North Pole, Santa and Mrs. Claus.

However, they shop local, just because.

Jobs, Better Schools, Kids Activities and Family Income for Clinton.

Shopping local helps all of these and so much more to even mention.

A couple of things from Wed;  Of course I went to the radio station to record the weekly “Chamber Chat” that airs each Thursday at 12:15pm on KDKD FM, 95.3…and then later that day, I attended the 80th birthday celebration for Mike Keith at the Rotary Building.  There was a huge crowd.

If you’re headed to the Downtown Clinton Square, tune into 88.5 FM to enjoy the Animated Christmas Light Music Show! It runs from 5 pm to 11 pm nightly.

Henry County Library-A book lovers Christmas tree be isn’t complete without a golden reminder of their favorite place on earth!  The Henry County Library in Clinton is selling one of a kind gold ornaments celebrating the library’s history with a beautiful rendition of the original library located on Jefferson St and a gleaming version of our current location on Green St.

We are “Featuring” our Chamber members! On the Chamber’s Facebook page, we are taking text and images from our member’s websites, Facebook pages, Google searches, etc. and combining them into posts on our Facebook page. “Featured with the GCACC”. It gives the viewer a “one-stop shopping experience” for each of our Chamber members. We have a lot of Chamber members so getting every business on our page will take quite a while, but we think it’s well worth it! It’s just another service from YOUR Chamber of Commerce. Heartland Community Theatre of Clinton is pleased to announce that the December Production will include 2 plays!
Both Directed by Rob Hills.
“Angels with Paper Wings” by W. Gordon Mauermann will be 1st, followed by “Scrooged Up”, by Dan Roberts.

The Open House for the new GVMH Oncology Center was held late Monday (12/11) aft.  A beautiful facility inside and out that will serve this area for years to come.

Do you like to sing? Would you like to make new friends? A Community Choir, led by Mark and Gay Smith, is being formed with practices beginning February 1, 2024. Practices will last 90 minutes each Thursday evening and be held at Clinton First Presbyterian church for six-to-eight weeks. There will be a performance open to the public in April.  Everyone is welcome! In order to get a head count of how many people to expect, organizers are asking that you sign up. You will be asked for your name, phone, email address, and if you sing soprano, alto, tenor, or bass. This effort is being led by First Presbyterian Church but all in the community are invited to participate.  We look forward to hearing from you!

The Greater Clinton Area Chamber of Commerce is giving you the chance to get free money! Our “150 to get 25” is underway!

All you have to do is buy at least $150 in Chamber gift certificates and we’ll give you an extra gift certificate worth $25. That’s right, spend at least $150 with us and you’ll get an extra Christmas gift worth $25 for someone, or yourself!

This promotion will end at noon on Dec. 22nd. We are open Monday through Friday from 8am until 4:30pm. If you would like for your gift certificates to be ready when you come in, just call ahead and tell us how much you are wanting to spend and any names you may want on the certificates.

Gift certificates can be used at most of our Chamber-member businesses and you can find all of our more than 400 Chamber members on our website, www.clintonmo.com. Clinton Animal Shelter-We still have some sponsorships available!! Help a homeless pet by sponsoring a kennel or even a play yard. We currently have 8 Friends of the Felines, 1 Protector Dog Kennel, 8 Hero Dog Kennels and 2 Outdoor Play Yards still waiting for a sponsor. Plaques are going up now and no matter when your plaque goes up in 2023 your year won’t start until January 1, 2024. If you would like a sponsor form emailed or mailed to you please email tlbwilliams94@gmail.com.
