Save the Date…and don’t be late! The Chamber of Commerce and our Ambassadors Committee are hosting a Legislative Luncheon on March 18th at the Elks Lodge Banquet Room from 11:00am (that’s when serving begins) until 1pm. We will start the program around 11:45 and if you are still eating, that’s certainly no problem. As of today, it looks like we will have Mayor Moberly, Presiding Commissioner Stone, MO Gov. Parson, a rep. for U.S. Sen. Schmitt, U.S. Rep. Alford, MO Sen. Crawford, and MO Rep. Kalberloh. Find out what is happening in Washington D.C. and here in MO. There may be time for a short ‘question and answer session’ after each speaker and a time to speak individually with each presenter if they are available after the event. The cost for the luncheon looks like it will be around $15, as of right now, and those tickets will go on sale next week. We will also be looking for sponsors for this event and information on that will also be coming next week. We certainly hope you plan on attending this event March 18th to hear from our elected officials talking about a variety of subjects. Seating will be limited. This is open to the public.

I recorded the weekly ‘Chamber Chat’ segment at KDKD Wed. morning along with the 2024 Chamber President amber Hansen…Also on Wed., Clinton Main Street had an on-site assessment with the state and national level.  As part of the Economic Vitality Committee for Clinton Main Street, I attended this very informative meeting.
