You’ve heard of “Tag, you’re it!” Well, we want to be the “it”.  When a Chamber-member business posts something on their Facebook page, we want that business to tag our Facebook page: www.facebook.com/ClintonMO  This will help YOUR Chamber know that you have information out there that you want the people to see. WE want your information out there as well! So, if you tag the Clinton Chamber each time you post something on Facebook, we will be aware of it and we will share your information on our Facebook page. We can also include that info in our weekly (Monday) newsletter that is sent to every Chamber member and David’s Friday update each week that goes out to the public on three Facebook pages, our website and our local media.   Let US help YOU. Tag YOUR Chamber of Commerce and let US work for YOU.  660-885-8166. david@clintonmo.com. joyce@clintonmo.com. 200 South Main. M-F 8am-4:30pm.

From the Clinton Main Street page on Thursday of this week;    Yesterday, Clinton Main Street hosted area 4th graders to celebrate National Historic Preservation Month. They went on a historical walking tour and learned the history of our downtown, as well as why it’s so important to preserve it. Students learned about the Bandstand, the Humane Fountain, the 9/11 Memorial, “They Stood Tall” monument, and ended at The Dog Trot and Schoolhouse. Fun was had by all, and we hope these kids gained a sense of pride in the history of their town!  Thank you to the Henry County Museum, Clinton, Mo. for all their help in facilitating this day, as well as our amazing board members and David at the Greater Clinton Area Chamber of Commerce for going above and beyond to make this a great day for the kids. Thank you Clinton Intermediate School and Holy Rosary Catholic School for letting us host you!

Community Health Assessment Resource Team:    Our mission is to assess the current health status of Henry County, including needs and services, and plan for implementation and utilization of services to meet those assessed needs. First Annual Fundraising Golf Tournament  (100% of funds raised go back to Henry County Schools)  Henry County C.H.A.R.T. is hosting its 1st Annual Healthy Communities Golf Tournament this Spring (June 17 @ Meadow lake Golf Club Clinton MO). We are looking for sponsors to help reach our event goal of $30,000, which will be used to assist Henry County Schools by paying off students’ outstanding lunch account balances and purchasing supplies. For the current school year, those expenses exceed $30,000, so your donation will significantly help our community by allowing lower/middle income families and all eight school districts in our local area to worry a little less about meeting these needs. All donations are welcomed and appreciated. For any donation over $150.00, you or your organization will be noted on a hole sponsorship sign and receive recognition at the tournament and on social media pages. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me, Tyler Pulcini. I would be more than happy to provide you with additional information about how you can support our community efforts. If you wish to contribute, please contact us at 660-223-3210.

We have several committees here at the Clinton Chamber and volunteers are always welcomed.  Our committees include Academic Excellence, Agriculture, Ambassadors, Military Affairs, Olde Glory Days and Tourism.  If you would like to get involved in helping to move Clinton forward, just call, email, stop by or if you see me out and about…let’s visit.

You can be ‘Featured’, BUT YOU DON’T HAVE TO BE IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA.  READ MORE HERE:  You want your business to be featured but you don’t want to be recorded.  We can do that with pictures and a story.  ‘Featured with David Lee’.   If you are a Chamber member, you could be ‘Featured’.  The Facebook posts feature an interview and photos of area businesses.  Once a week for a month, the ‘Feature’ was brought back to the top of our Facebook page.  After a month, of course it will still be on our Facebook page.  HOWEVER, we realize not everyone is comfortable in front of a camera being interviewed.  So, David can come to your business, take some pictures and you can tell him what you would like the Chamber to say about your business and we’ll include that info along with the photos.  We will post these photos along with your information on the Chamber’s Facebook page and update it on our page once a week for a month.  So contact us at 660-885-8166 or email david@clintonmo.com.  We are also still recording the videos as well if you would like to do that.  It’s just another service of your Clinton Chamber of Commerce.
